About this role
Program Analyst Washington, District of Columbia Summary This position is part of the National Archives and Records Administration, Information Security Oversight Office (ISOO). This position is responsible for inspecting and evaluating the programs of federal agencies that create or handle classified and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and providing guidance to such agencies. Duties As a Program Analyst, you will: Support the implementation of Executive Orders 13526 and 13556, to include drafting policies related to the marking and handling of Classified National Security Information (CNSI) and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and providing guidance to Executive Branch organizations. Plan and conduct detailed analyses, examinations or studies of agency regulations, policies, practices, and data. Analyze reports and data submitted by agencies concerning their security classification and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) programs to identify deficiencies, trends, or problem areas. Represent ISOO Leadership in meetings and contacts with senior agency representatives. Conduct periodic briefings concerning the Government's security classification and/or Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) programs. Support a variety of interagency working groups. Requirements The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
