About this role
System Administrator 3-IT Thailand, TH Responsibilities Perform hardware installations, configurations, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs in the data center environment for servers, network devices, and storage systems. Participate in daily operational support tasks such as racking, stacking, cabling, and component replacements. Execute scheduled maintenance, firmware, and hardware upgrades with precision and adherence to strict change control processes. Support and respond to tickets for on-site incidents, equipment failures, or system alerts, escalating issues as needed. Maintain accurate documentation for inventory, repairs, and infrastructure changes. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and operations teams to implement and optimize processes. Always ensure adherence to physical security and safety practices. Participate in emergency response and disaster recovery activities, as required. Contribute to process improvement and best practices for data center operations. Preferred Qualifications: 3 to 5+ years of experience working in a data center or mission-critical technical environment. Strong understanding of data center infrastructure (server/storage hardware, networking, cabling, and power/cooling systems). Hands-on experience with troubleshooting, diagnostics, and basic repairs of server hardware. Familiarity with ticketing systems, inventory management tools, and change management processes. Excellent communication skills Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, walking, lifting to 20kg). Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
