About this role
Clinical Informaticist BENGALURU, KARNATAKA, India, IN We are seeking a Clinical Informaticist to join our dynamic team at Oracle America, Inc. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our Oracle Health Prod Mgmt - Data Prediction department, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of medical annotations. Your clinical expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in supporting our AI/ML and healthcare data projects, contributing to the development of innovative healthcare solutions. Required Experience Clinical experience or education in nursing, medicine and surgery, pharmacy, laboratory sciences, respiratory therapy, health information management, medical coding, or another healthcare-related field. 0-2 years of experience in healthcare, clinical operations, medical coding, quality assurance, healthcare technology, or related healthcare environments. Familiarity with clinical documentation and healthcare terminology. Basic understanding of healthcare workflows and patient care processes. Ability to accurately interpret clinical documentation and healthcare concepts Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Demonstrated ability to learn new systems, processes, and technologies. Demonstrated understanding of the US healthcare system Preferred Experience Exposure to data annotation, quality assurance, healthcare analytics, AI/ML, NLP, or healthcare technology projects. Exposure to electronic health record (EHR) systems. Experience reviewing healthcare records, quality measures, clinical documentation, or medical coding. Familiarity with healthcare terminologies such as ICD, CPT, SNOMED CT, LOINC, or RxNorm. Bachelor's degree in a healthcare, life sciences, health informatics, or related field preferred. Perform medical annotations following established guidelines, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Review annotations for quality, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
