About the Role We're hiring a Software Engineer on our Developer Products team to build the surfaces external developers use to integrate with OpenRouter - our API, SDKs, docs, CLI, and other tools. Today, this work is owned by a small group, and the developer ecosystem around OpenRouter is growing quickly. Your work will also shape how agents interact with our platform and integrations. This role is ideal for engineers who love autonomy, value collaboration, and have a track record of shipping software that works. You'll play a critical role in shaping our product as we scale, helping expand our platform's features, and delivering exceptional experiences for our users. What You'll Do - Own and evolve our public REST API and the developer experience around it - from API design and ergonomics to versioning, errors, and rate-limiting behavior. - Build and maintain our client SDKs across TypeScript and Python, and lead the launches of our upcoming SDKs. - Ship our Agent SDK,
