Program Manager, Partner Operations San Francisco, California, United States About the Team OpenAI's Research Team is at the forefront of AI research, pushing the limits of what AI can achieve. Our team is dedicated to developing advanced AI systems that are powerful, safe, and beneficial for everyone. About the Role The Research IP Partnerships team is hiring a Partnership Operations team member to help execute and improve the operational workflows behind our external research partnerships. In this role, you will work on high-priority, ambiguous problems at the intersection of research, partnership, and applied engineering. You will manage complex processes, track key deliverables, support partner-facing requests, and improve how the team operates at scale. This role is well suited for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, action-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with evolving requirements. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: - Support the execution of critical partner-facing operational workflows. - Build and improve processes, tools, and automations that increase team efficiency and reduce operational friction. - Manage day-to-day execution against partner commitments with strong attention to detail. - Deep dive into the critical drivers of operations and identifying opportunities for optimization and innovation. - Manage critical inquiries from both technical and non-technical partners.
