Head of Demand Generation San Francisco, California, United States About the Team The B2B Marketing team contributes to OpenAI's broader mission of ensuring responsible and widespread adoption of artificial intelligence. We are responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and usage for OpenAI's products and platform across SMB, enterprise, and developer audiences. We take a customer- and data-driven approach to understanding how organizations discover, evaluate, and adopt AI. We partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Product Marketing, Growth, Research, Communications, and Design to create cohesive experiences that help customers move from initial interest to successful deployment and long-term value. About the Role We're looking for a Head of Demand Generation to build and lead OpenAI's enterprise demand generation function. This role will own the pipeline journey from lead through early-stage qualified opportunities, with a primary focus on enterprise buyers including IT leaders, administrators, executives, and Heads of AI. This is a highly cross-functional role for a leader who can pair strategic rigor with hands-on execution. You will shape our demand generation strategy, build the operating model and team to support it, and work closely with Sales and Revenue Operations to improve lead quality, handoff, conversion, and overall funnel efficiency. You will also accelerate top-of-funnel growth by optimizing existing programs and introducing new ones that expand enterprise pipeline.
