Senior Specialist - Data Engineer Shanghai Job Profile As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for building our brand-new data warehouse in the China market, designing data models, and enhancing the company's data analytics capabilities. You will leverage your exceptional SQL skills and business acumen to deliver clear, well-defined data. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and the global data engineering team. As a key member of On's digital transformation project, you will play a vital role in driving the evolution of data-supported processes within the organization. Your Team The Data Enablement Team is responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving the company's internal data platforms, products, and processes. Our mission is to empower every On employee to make informed, data-driven decisions that impact business outcomes. This team is part of the broader Data & AI Department. Your Mission As On grows, so does our demand for data. You will play a crucial role in this journey, not only by helping build the data blueprint but also by optimizing existing and new data products. Your core responsibilities include: Building the Foundation: Establishing a brand-new cloud-based data warehouse, replicating and migrating EDI (Electronic Data Interchange) processes from the existing warehouse, and creating/improving comprehensive technical documentation. Pipeline Optimization: Ensuring all future ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes are built and optimized directly within the new cloud data warehouse.
