Electrical Maintenance Technician Job Posting Country United States | Job Posting State/Province VA | Job Posting City Prince George Job Details Division: Nucor Insulated Panel Group Location: Prince George, VA, USA Other Available Locations: N/A Basic Job Functions: Nucor Insulated Panel Group is seeking a highly motivated Electrical Maintenance Technician to support continuous manufacturing operations at our Prince George facility. This position is responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of industrial electrical systems, controls, and automation equipment supporting production lines and facility utilities. The Electrical Maintenance Technician plays a critical role in minimizing downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting automation and continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires strong electrical troubleshooting skills, a safety‑first mindset, and the ability to work effectively with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times . Primary Responsibilities Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial electrical systems, including: Motors, motor starters, VFDs, and soft starters 480V / 277V / 120V power distribution systems Control panels, MCCs, and electrical enclosures Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on electrical and control systems to improve equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
