This position is responsible for providing effective quoting, planning, and procuring of materials and resources required to maintain, upgrade, and repair power plant related mechanical equipment. Essential Duties/ Responsibilities Coordinates, plans, and schedules shop repair work and resources needed to ensure its timely return to service Works with Engineering, Supervisors, Dept. Heads, and Suppliers to create traveler packets that complete work from quote to delivery Ensures that ALL maintenance work is planned and Job Packages include (time estimates, skills requirements, materials, drawings, Safety Information, procedures, specifications, etc.) Facilitates job package library, including enhancing packages with feedback from crews and supervisors Ensures compliance with all applicable QA/QC requirements Ensures the NRG maintenance process and work management principles and practices are integrated into work packets and followed Participates in development, implementation and maintenance of policies, objectives, short and long-range planning
