Within our B2B focus area, we move fast, build with purpose, and tackle complex backend challenges that directly shape how Noom serves health plans and employers. About the Role Our AI Team is looking for a Lead Backend Engineer. In this role, you'll own significant backend engineering scope, driving key agentic AI engineering initiatives across the business while providing hands-on technical leadership to a small team of engineers. This is an IC-first role: 80% engineering, 20% managing others. You'll work closely with other engineering leaders in the org to define scope, optimize how we support the business, and lead GenAI projects that extend what we're already building. If you love staying hands-on and doing the engineering work and want to lead, this is the role for you. You Will - Own and deliver backend engineering work across Noom's AI and Agentic initiatives - Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders across our engineering, product, and healthcare
