Senior Analyst - Qualitative Shanghai, SH, China Company Description: Job Description: Day-to-day management of multiple qualitative research projects with minimal supervisory input Undertake sales activities independently or in conjunction with senior staff in terms of preparation and delivery of proposal and credentials Supervise the work and mentor junior researchers KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsibility for research materials (i.e. recruiting screener, discussion guides) design and implementation Moderate or have high potential to run focus groups, conduct in-depth interviews or other types of fieldworks Report writing and presentation creation including client recommendations, with the ability to work independently Management of the analysis, interpretation and reporting process so that the project reflects the client's business objectives in the presentation and reporting of findings Ensuring that all day-to-day (i.e. project related) client liaison runs smoothly Achieve agreed revenue target, quality, speed of delivery and productivity targets as assigned Contribute to overall team plan by generating revenue and/or cost savings ideas Work across functional business units to support organizational initiatives and business needs Qualifications: BA/BS required from a recognized university Minimum 1-2 years' experience of qualitative research, preferably with focus on Finance, FMCG, healthcare or retail sector A demonstrable track record in moderating focus groups, in-depth interviews and ethnography are essential. Experience of online methodologies and other innovative techniques is desirable. Excellent communications skills in Mandarin and English. Strong writing and presentation skills are essential, and evidence of ability to produce impactful reports in PowerPoint will be required. Client focused and has solid experience of dealing directly
