The Job Responsibilities of a Data Science Intern: Support the Data Science team in day-to-day activities, including data cleaning, validation, extraction, and basic analysis to resolve data queries. Collaborate with associates to develop new solutions, use cases, proof-of-concepts (POCs), and prototypes by exploring diverse datasets using tools such as Python. Assist in automating existing processes and developing enhancements, including proposing new data visualizations or improving current dashboards (e.g., Power BI). Build and maintain positive working relationships across teams, ensuring open communication and alignment to deliver against client expectations and satisfaction. Ensure adherence to company regional and global standards, compliance guidelines, and best practices at all times. Provide support for team initiatives and take on additional tasks or projects as assigned. Qualifications: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Beginner to intermediate proficiency in Python and Power BI. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
