Position Specific Description Job Overview This job is responsible for transacting short-term energy or gas purchases/sales. Employees in this role develop, communicate, and execute trading strategies with guidance. This position may lead and direct a team of junior traders. Job Duties & Responsibilities Monitors market conditions and analyzes transactions to help in identifying and executing energy trades Ensures transaction terms are beneficial to the organization and meet risk guidelines Optimizes economics to assure minimum energy supply costs and maximizes profits for generation portfolio Determines generation requirements and coordinates fuel procurement to meet obligations Coaches junior traders Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications High School Grad / GED Bachelor's Degree Experience:5+ years Performs other job-related duties as assigned Preferred Qualificatio
