POSITION SUMMARY: We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Data Bus Expert to join our fast-growing technology team. This role requires telematics/vehicle data bus development and test engineer experience. The Vehicle Data Engineer will work closely with engineers, product managers, field service/support and account managers to resolve issues and improve the product. The focus will be on functions on the vehicle's OBDII and J1939 CAN Bus Data Networks. Objectives & Key Results: - Development and testing of CAN based telematics devices. - Member of the global CAN Engineering team to support development, debugging, and validation of Netradyne vehicle communication software for ELD and other Telematics functions. - Debug and modify embedded software/code directly on Device CAN device to resolve CAN Bus communication and integration issues. - Use tools such as CANalyzer, PCAN, and scripting/debugging utilities to support rapid troubleshooting and software validation. - Troubleshoots problems and issues with all classes of vehicles from passenger vehicles to commercial vehicles (Class 1-8 style vehicles). - Work closely with the Product Management and Product Success teams to enhance J1939/OBDII solutions across makes and models, addressing root-cause
