Electrical Automation Engineer Country Australia | State/Province Queensland Position Snapshot Location: Gympie, QLD (Relocation supported) Full time, permanent 4+ years' experience in a similar role Position Summary We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Automation (E&A) Engineer to join our team at the Gympie factory where we make our iconic coffee brands NESCAFÉ and INTERNATIONAL ROAST. In this role, you will provide leadership, technical expertise, and ownership of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Electrical and Automation (E&A) systems within the factory, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient operation of all E&A assets. This role is accountable for ensuring that all MES-E&A systems contribute to business performance while never compromising safety, quality, or environmental compliance. A day in the life… Reporting to the Engineering Manager and driving continuous improvement and project delivery, key responsibilities include but are not limited to: Participate in Capital Investment projects, ensuring that the technical solution are delivered within the expected quality standard, timeline, and budget. Prepare user and technical specifications, coordinating the requirements of the main users (production, quality, etc.), the follow up of the solution development, the pre-test, implementation, and training of operators and maintenance crews.
