Test Automation Engineer Australia-Symonston AUSTRALIAN CITIZENSHIP REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: Yes RELOCATION ASSISTANCE: No relocation assistance available CLEARANCE TYPE: AU- Secret (NV1) TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time Description Your Role: The Test Automation Engineer is to design, develop, and maintain tests and test automation for the software and accompanying components of NGA's Secure Communication System (SCS) products. You will also be accountable for: Develop ing , maintain ing and evolv ing manual and automated tests on virtual machines Contribut ing to high quality test and automation process using agile methodologies Ensure test cases appropriately exercise the target functionality Optimise test and test automation processes by recommending tools and processes improvements Grow and contribute to areas such as cyber security, system administration and systems engineering About You: To be successful in this role, you will have: Relevant tertiary qualifications/industry certification in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline Experience with Test configuration tools (e.g. JIRA X-ray) Knowledge of managing and maintaining testing lifecycle management Experience with Work-Load management and deflect tracking using JIRA or similar industry tools 1-3 years of relevant industry experience specifically with Testing and Test Automation frameworks and understanding of Linux.
