About this role

Strategic Account Manager - Breed Associations 2 Locations Come Be Part of a Mission that Matters! Neogen is seeking a dynamic, relationship-focused Strategic Account Manager - Breed Associations to lead and manage key Business-to-Business partnerships with breed associations across the U.S. and Canada. This role is essential to the Livestock division, with a focus on beef and dairy genomics, and is responsible for developing and executing strategies to grow revenue, strengthen partnerships, and advance genomic adoption within breed organizations. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement strategic account plans in alignment with annual sales goals and growth objectives. Lead the execution and annual renewal of Genomic Testing Service Agreements (GTSA) agreements with breed associations. Deliver quarterly business updates, including revenue, volume, forecasts, market share analysis, competitor activity, and business opportunities or risks. Coordinate and conduct a minimum of two face-to-face meetings per year with each top-tier account, including association leadership and stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, Customer Service) to ensure alignment on account strategies, volume forecasts, and new initiatives. Manage and support the launch of new programs, pricing models, and research applications tailored to the needs of each breed association. Maintain ongoing communication with key accounts through regular virtual meetings and calls. Attend and participate in Board of Directors meetings and other events to build long-term strategic relationships. Plan and support training events, education sessions, and implementation of genomic technologies.
