Senior Backend Engineer Remote MyOme's mission is to provide clinically actionable genetic information to patients throughout their lives. We combine clinical-grade whole genome sequencing, advanced AI methods for genome interpretation, and seamless digital tools for doctors and patients to order and access results. Our team is composed of seasoned entrepreneurs, scientists, and operators, and we're backed by top-tier investors. Position Overview: MyOme is looking for an experienced and pragmatic individual to join our integrations and portal team. This position will help enable patients and providers to order testing and understand results, bringing clarity and ease of use to complex genetics results. The successful candidate will demonstrate knowledge of healthcare data and an eagerness to build value through fast prototyping and iteration. What You'll Do: - Add new features to our backend systems to support portal enhancements - Support integration partners through reusable feature builds - Create test data to aid in the design and development of our systems - Develop new APIs - Contribute to the team through code reviews and design discussions - Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous improvement - Balance quick wins with long-term technical sustainability What You'll Ne ed: - No specific degree prerequisite.
