Global Customs Supervisor USA - Rialto, CA A Day in the Life: In the position of POS Global Customs Supervisor, you will oversee the global customs team, ensuring compliance of each shipment of POS, premiums, coolers, and merchandise displays with the importation country's requirements. Work closely with the procurement, logistics, vendor, and warehouse teams, communicating necessary requirements for customs and item compliance, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to all relevant regulations. Maintain strong coordination with all involved departments, addressing any potential compliance issues proactively. The Impact You'll Make: - Oversee the global customs team effectively, focus on research and coordination of compliance requirements for each shipment. Ensure all shipments meet the necessary regulations in exportation and importation. - Handle escalation and effective communication with various departments, procurement, logistics, warehouse, custom brokers, freight forwarder, and government agencies. - Manage administrative functions and ensure team compliance regulations, coordinate closely with internal teams, and upper management. - Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices, and make recommendations for improvements to management. Who You Are: - Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Logistics, Business Administration, or related field Additional Experience Desired: Between 3-5 years of experience in logistics, customs compliance- procedures and regulations - Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in a supervisory role - Computer Skills Desired: Advanced knowledge of MS Office and SAP. - Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Understanding of supply
