About this role
Senior Manager, Revenue Austin; New York City; Palo Alto We're looking for a high-energy, detail-oriented, and hands-on individual to join the Revenue Team as a Senior Revenue Manager. This role will be based out of our Austin, Palo Alto or NYC office and will primarily be responsible for determining appropriate accounting treatment for new product offerings, analyzing and reviewing complex revenue transactions, continually refining our revenue recognition policies, providing direction on technical revenue accounting issues and articulating accounting impact to our business partners during product rollouts. In addition, this role will participate in month-end and quarter-end close activities and be responsible for leading and mentoring a small team remotely. To be successful, this individual must have the ability to adapt quickly, make decisions autonomously, operate effectively in a rapidly scaling, dynamic environment and align well with MongoDB's core values. Team Description The Revenue team is an extremely visible, high-performing team, ultimately responsible for accurate financial reporting of revenue. The team is responsible for managing the monthly close, contract negotiation, and determining appropriate accounting treatment for our product offerings.
