Primary Objective: Leads team and performs a variety of mechanical and basic electrical tasks to safely maintain and support facility equipment, machinery, and systems. Major Function and Scope: Complies with all company safety rules and procedures. Ensures that all team members are in compliance as well. Conducts Start of Shift Safety Stand Downs detailing all planned activities and risks associated with planned work. Takes the lead on training and developing new employees. Performs and documents preventive maintenance and inspections on plant equipment. Schedules services and inspections by contractors and state inspectors Inspects work to verify accuracy and workmanship. Assist with delegating work orders and setting priority. Enters SAP request for purchasing. Services and repairs plant HVAC equipment, including air-handlers, chillers, fans, etc. Performs welding and light metal fabrication tasks, including basic operation of machining equipment, such as lathes, milling-machin
