About this role

Product Designer, Wearables New York, NY; San Francisco, CA Meta is seeking a Product Designer to join the Cross-Meta Experiences (XME) team within Instagram, where you'll shape how Instagram shows up across Meta's wearables portfolio - including Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses, display glasses, and AR devices. In this role, you will own mobile design end-to-end for Instagram on wearables, contribute to the design vision, and partner closely with teams across Instagram and Wearables. You'll collaborate with senior designers and cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality wearables experiences while navigating emerging technology challenges. Responsibilities: - Own wearables mobile design end-to-end, with support for display glasses work as needed, ensuring quality and coherence across the product lifecycle - Shape on-device experiences across the wearables portfolio, designing features that help people share unique perspectives captured from these new devices - Contribute to the design vision for Instagram app experiences on Meta's wearables, translating product opportunities into clear, user-centered solutions - Partner with senior designers and cross-functional stakeholders to align on strategy and build buy-in through storytelling and prototypes - Navigate cross-team relationships effectively, collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders across Instagram and Wearables - Uphold the craft bar for wearables design quality, ensuring work meets Instagram's excellence standards - Develop high-fidelity prototypes and interactive models to communicate design direction and inform product decisions - Leverage AI tools and workflows to accelerate design exploration, prototype generation, and quality evaluation - Collaborate with product management, engineering, and research to define success metrics and iterate on designs
