Commercial Sourcing Manager - Cloud Fremont, CA The Compute & Storage, AI, and Networking Technology Sourcing Team moves fast and leverages key partnerships to drive technical innovation, high quality standards and cost-savings via a customized supply chain. The Cloud Commercial Sourcing Manager will act as the lead commercial and business contact for Cloud hardware, software, and services across the Meta supply base, while developing optionality on sources of supply as required. Sourcing activities will include, but not be limited to, identification of cloud service providers and options, developing and leading negotiation and sourcing strategies, partnering with Meta Infra Research, hardware and software engineering teams to develop a business and technology roadmap in support of Meta's AI goals and objectives and driving strategic sourcing decisions on a global basis. Working closely with the Research and development engineering Teams, the Sourcing Manager will lead the commercial engagements and partner relationships for cloud sourcing and related services in support of AI model research & development. The Sourcing Manager will also be responsible for the deployment of selected solutions and technologies, and supplier management with particular emphasis in the areas of sourcing and licensing for cloud technologies and services. Additionally, the Sourcing Manager will be responsible for contracts, negotiations, custom engagement models, software licensing, and the development of global commodity and supply chain strategies to enable Meta to meet time-to-development goals, while managing the total landed cost.
