Azure MSP Cloud Engineer Irvine, CA, Irvine, California, United States Intermediate Azure Cloud Engineer (Managed Services) Location: Irvine, CA (100% On-site) Employment Type: Full-time Experience Level: Intermediate (3-5 years) Role Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Intermediate Azure Cloud Engineer to join our Managed Services team in Irvine, CA. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management, optimization, and troubleshooting of complex Azure environments for a diverse portfolio of clients. As a key member of our technical team, you will bridge the gap between initial cloud architecture and ongoing operational excellence. The ideal candidate has a strong technical foundation in Azure, a "security-first" mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-client environment. Key Responsibilities - Infrastructure Management: Provision, configure, and manage Azure resources including Virtual Machines, VNet, Azure SQL, App Services, and Storage Accounts. - Automation & IaC: Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates to standardize and automate deployments. - Identity & Security: Manage Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD) , implement Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and ensure compliance using Azure Policy and Microsoft Defender for Cloud. - Monitoring & Optimization: Utilize Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights to proactively monitor performance and troubleshoot issues. - Cost Management: Analyze client cloud spend using Azure Cost Management and provide actionable recommendations for cost optimization (Rightsizing, Reserved Instances, etc.). - Backup & Disaster Recovery: Implement and test robust backup and recovery solutions using Azure Backup and
