Hybrid role: 2 days/week in office - Taipei, Taiwan Role Overview We are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our technology team. As a Software Engineer at MediaAlpha, you will take part in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. This includes working with stakeholders in fixing and improving our MediaAlpha Exchange Product and testing new features and integrations. The ideal candidate will enjoy designing, implementing, and scaling systems that process tens of thousands of high-value transactions a day, while also producing elegant and readable code. Responsibilities - Work closely with product managers to define product features and plan deliverables and milestones. - Understand the company's mission, be able to independently communicate and coordinate effectively across departments, and work with the team to complete projects. - Participate in the overall software development process, write readable and reliable code, and assist in server maintenance. - Integrate business partners' products and data into the MediaAlpha system, enabling our partners to analyze their data and improve various metrics through the MediaAlpha platform. - Write technical documentation and user manuals to help users and colleagues understand and use the system. - Use script languages (e.g., Perl) to develop software on Linux systems and assist with AWS maintenance tasks (EC2,
