POSITION OVERVIEW: Through the direction of the Warehouse Team Manager, the Warehouse Technician is responsible for supporting the plant and department goals, including process reliability, safety, quality, and service. RESPONSIBILITIES: · Actively participate in Continuous Improvement activities to identify process issues and improvement opportunities · Understand production schedule, customer orders, open orders report, shipping orders, or material purchase schedules to determine items to be moved, received, gathered, or distributed · Convey materials and items from storage, receiving, or production areas to storage, production, or other designated areas · Assemble customer orders from stock and stages.
