General Project Superintendent COLUMBIA, SC, US Overview The General Project Superintendent is responsible for the overall field execution of a highway construction project. This role oversees daily construction operations, coordinates subcontractors and crews, ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements. The Superintendent serves as the senior on-site leader and primary point of coordination between project management, engineers, inspectors, and field personnel.
