The Role We are seeking a Safety Specialist/Engineer to be responsible and accountable for the site's safety, health, and security, along with assisting in developing, implementing, and sustaining good safety and health practices for our team. This role is responsible to ensure that safety standards and procedures are followed by all mine personnel in compliance with company, state, and federal Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) rules and regulations. Copper One is a 24/7/365 open pit mining operation with an excellent safety performance and compliance record. The ideal candidate combines OSHA and MSHA expertise and experience having acted as a Safety Specialist or Safety Engineer in mining operations.
