About this role
Finance Intern (all genders) Munich Office | OnSite Finance Intern As a Finance Intern at Lio, you will play a role in building and scaling the finance operations of a fast-growing AI company. Backed by a16z and Y Combinator, we are building a category-defining product. Working closely with the Finance team and collaborating across departments, you will help design and execute processes, reporting structures, and records that you build with us to scale and automate as we grow. What You'll Do In this role, you will: - Help build the foundation of a state-of-the-art finance operations function - designing scalable processes from the ground up - Support accounts receivable processes, including tracking outstanding invoices and ensuring timely collection - Take ownership of invoice documentation and filing, maintaining accurate and audit-ready financial records - Contribute to the preparation of investor reporting, supporting both quantitative analysis and the accompanying commentary - Identify opportunities to automate repetitive finance workflows using AI-powered tools, helping us move faster and smarter as we scale - Support ad-hoc projects across finance and revenue operations, including data analysis and one-off requests that inform strategic decisions Your Profile You are a strong fit for this role if you: - Are available for a minimum of 4 months starting as soon as possible - Are currently pursuing or have recently completed a degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline - Possess strong Excel skills and a structured, detail-oriented approach to your work - experience with modern finance tools
