Equipment Breakdown Risk Consultant Plano, TX, US; Abilene, TX, US; Oklahoma City, OK, US; Denton, TX, US; Dallas, TX, US; Fort Worth, TX, US Description Under limited supervision, we provide loss prevention consulting services within the Property and Marine Loss Prevention department, specializing in equipment breakdown risk. Completes Boiler and Pressure Vessel inspection, conducts extensive research, data collection, evaluation, and analysis to make recommendations that help control customers' sources of risk, loss, and costs. Serves as a technical expert in mechanical systems and equipment breakdown exposures. This position may be filled at various levels, commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and possession of an NBIC Commission. The role involves a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote responsibilities with field-based activities. The Risk Control team operates in a collaborative environment, working virtually across multiple target territories to support operational objectives. The selected candidate will be expected to work in the field a minimum of three days per week and must be willing to travel throughout Texas and Oklahoma to support project needs across the region. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Conducts on-site inspections of boilers, pressure vessels, and mechanical systems to identify hazards and assess risk. Compiles facts from site visits, reports, and databases to evaluate existing processes, determine severity/frequency of issues, and identify improvement needs.
