Procurement Buyer As a Procurement Buyer, you will be a cornerstone of the Supply Chain team, driving both operational excellence and strategic growth. You will manage the direct materials supply base to ensure our manufacturing and lab operations never miss a beat. This role is perfect for a data-driven professional who thrives in an SAP S/4HANA environment and is passionate about Continuous Improvement (CI). What You'll Do - Manage purchase order placement, tracking, and delivery in strict alignment with site planning and inventory requirements. - Provide accurate, forward-looking volume outlooks to supplier partners to facilitate robust medium and long-term capacity planning. - Act as the primary point of contact for order status and scheduling, collaborating closely with Logistics Specialists to resolve transit or customs issues. - Proactively track open orders to identify potential shortages, highlight delivery risks, and escalate critical supply issues to leadership when necessary. - Partner with Planning, NPI (New Product Introduction), Logistics, and Quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve supply constraints. - Secure optimal pricing and lead times while continuously auditing supplier
