Senior Backend Engineer, Telematics EU, Amsterdam, North Holland, Netherlands We're reimagining car insurance-and we're looking for a senior backend engineer to help lead the charge. As a part of our Telematics team, you'll take a leading role in shaping the platform behind Lemonade Car. You'll design and build systems that turn raw sensor data into real-time insights, smarter pricing, and safer driving experiences, making an immediate, real-world impact. In this role you'll - Own platform end to end: Lead the design, implementation, and evolution of our sensor-agnostic telematics platform, with focus on scalability, performance, and quality. - Build big: Design, implement and optimize our telematics data pipelines processing vast volumes of customer data from various sources such as mobile phones, plug-in tracking devices, or connected cars. - Solve hard problems: Partner with teams across the company to tackle complex challenges like pricing fairness, fraud prevention, and risk mitigation. - Integrate at scale: Work with car makers (OEMs), driving data vendors and fulfillment providers to deliver a seamless, delightful experience to our customers. - Unlock
