About this role

NPI Engineer UNAVAILABLE, UNAVAILABLE, SG Position Description Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Manufacturing (NPI) Engineer II /Snr to join the Starline Singapore Team . The Manufacturing (NPI) Engineer is responsible for implementing best manufacturing practices and continuous improvement projects to support the manufacturing value streams. The primary goal of this position is to ensure that new products are designed for manufacturability and can be produced efficiently, on time, and within budget. He/She also provides technical support to production operations and personnel and is involved in the design and implementation of manufacturing automation and process initiatives. What Will You Do? Main Job Duties: Design for Manufacturability (DFM): Evaluate early-stage designs to ensure they can be produced at scale, often conducting Design for Assembly (DFA) and Design for Test (DFT) reviews. Manufacturing Process Development: Establish end-to-end production methods, including process flow, work instructions, and tooling/fixture requirements. BOM & Engineering Changes: Key contact with the Engineering team to ensure the Bill of Materials (BOM) accuracy and working/coordinating Engineering Change Notices (ECN). Pilot & Prototype Builds: Lead and analyze pilot runs to validate that both the product and the process meet technical requirements before full launch. Risk Management: Conduct Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) to identify and mitigate potential production risks. Cross-Functional Collabo
