Manufacturing Engineer Farmingdale, NY, US Position Description Legrand has an opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Data Center Power & Control Team in Farmingdale, NY . The Manufacturing Engineer develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing processes to support existing and new products. The role supports team-based process improvement efforts to ensure manufacturing processes meet requirements for capability, safety, quality, customer service, and reliability. What Will You Do? Design, improve, maintain, and implement manufacturing processes based on input from manufacturing leadership, maintenance activities, operators, and direct observation. Plan and define sequences of operations to fabricate and assemble parts and products, including development of equipment layouts, material flow, and workspace organization to improve efficiency. Train maintenance and production personnel on new and revised process procedures to support consistent and repeatable production. Maintain process documentation in accordance with established standards. Establish and maintain preventive maintenance schedules for all processes and equipment. Develop manufacturing process plans to meet all manufacturing requirements for safety, ergonomics, process capability, quality and cost. Present process concepts, implement approved solutions, and manage work to schedule and budget expectations.
