About this role

Manufacturing Supervisor (packaging) 2nd shift Cincinnati The Role: You will manage the assigned shift packaging operations and personnel. Coordinate production/schedule requirements with Team Leader, Making. Insure compliance with all OSHA regulations, FDA regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices. Meet quality production requirements in a safe, efficient and timely manner. Reporting to the Senior Packaging Manager you will develop an effective Packaging staff and organization identifying solutions for future production requirements on assigned shift. What you will do: - Insure the safe, efficient and effective utilization of packaging personnel, equipment and financial resources. - Insure compliance with all FDA regulations, Good Manufacturing Practices and Quality Assurance Standards. - Evaluate current operations and provide suggestions for continuous improvement to safety, quality, and operational efficiency. - Evaluate, coach, and mentor assigned shift packaging staff. - Identify, write and obtain approval for all required departmental Standard Operation Procedures and Work Instructions. Audit and update current SOP's and WI's as required by Company policy. - Complete and maintain 100% compliance with all training requirements for assigned shift packaging team. - Perform additional job duties as assigned What you will need: - Engineering or Business Management Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience/training. - 2+ years Manufacturing environment preferably
