Essential Duties and Accountability:-Responsible for verifying labels on containers and matching the description on packing slips-Support new Mazda J34a, possibly as a water spider-Support shipping and receiving systems-Inspect shipments, Load and unload trucks-Maintain the flow of materials to all areas of manufacturing efficiently while working in a team environment-Other duties as assigned by managementSupervisory Responsibilities:NoneJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:-Forklift, walkie stacker and tugger experience is preferred-Able to frequently lift-Knowledge of shipping and receiving systems-Prior material handling experience and knowledge-Flexible working hours, ability to work overtime (which may include weekends and holidays) as needed per business need-Proficient English communication skills-Demonstrated ability to understand and follow standard work, work within a team and support company policies, including but not limited to regular and punctual attendance, safety and ergonomics-Ability to learn, operate and maintain various equipment at an acceptable level with emphasis on quality (IATF 16949 standard), safety and environment (ISO 14001 and 45001), 5S and productivityEducation and Experience:High School Diploma or GED equivalentWork Environment/Physical Demands:The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
