Software Development Engineer - Systems Test Santa Cruz, CA, US Company Overview Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA. With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service. Overview This role supports our Systems Test team at Joby and focuses on Software Development for several test assets. This role will have exposure to highly-skilled and knowledgeable team of go-getters including hardware engineers, software engineers, technicians and subject matter experts across the company. We are looking for a Software Development Engineer with experience with National Instruments (NI) Software (LabVIEW, VeriStand) and hardware (PXI, cRIO etc…), python scripting and test automation. The position will support several test sites in Santa Cruz, Marina and San Carlos. The primary responsibilities for this role will include developing and maintaining test software, script and infrastructure in LabVIEW, Veristand and Python.
