Airplane Maintenance Mechanic Marina, CA, US Company Overview Imagine a piloted air taxi that takes off vertically, then quietly carries you and your fellow passengers over the congested city streets below, enabling you to spend more time with the people and places that matter most. At Joby, we've been working to make that dream a reality since 2009 and we're now in the final stages of certifying our aircraft with the FAA. With plans to launch our aircraft in the US and Dubai, we're now scaling manufacturing and preparing for the launch of our commercial service. Overview Joby Aviation is looking for driven and experienced individuals to help maintain our General Aviation aircraft. This role combines hands-on aircraft maintenance responsibilities with leadership and operational coordination duties in support of aircraft operations and maintenance programs. The ideal candidate is safety-driven, highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This position is based in Marina and may require domestic travel. Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with company procedures and maintenance manuals Conduct scheduled and unscheduled aircraft inspections per technical manuals, including maintenance sign-offs and return-to-service approvals Remove and replace airframe, powerplant, and electrical components per company procedures and maintenance manuals Complete required documentation in accordance with established company and FAA procedures Perform
