About this role

Portfolio Manager Hanover, MD, United States The Portfolio Manager is responsible for the centralized management of a portfolio of programs and projects to achieve Oceaneering's strategic objectives. The Portfolio Manager balances conflicting demands among portfolio components, allocates resources based on Oceaneering priorities and capacity, and integrates management principles and sound practices to deliver business value aligned with Oceaneering strategic objectives. Manage portfolio consistent with Oceaneering values and guidelines with respect to safety, quality, and business ethics. Apply knowledge of portfolio management competencies to manage the core elements of a project's integration, scope, schedule, cost, quality, resources, communications, risks, procurement and stakeholders to meet project requirements. Apply knowledge of communication, leadership, management, cognitive abilities, effectiveness, and professionalism to lead the project teams in meeting their objectives. Assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI Work with and provide reports to Business Development staff for CRM, opportunity identification and tracking, and B&P tasks Grow the Portfolio book of business through Program Development (organic growth from existing contracts) Support divisional growth through capture management and proposing new work in the Portfolio as led by BD Decide on suitable Portfolio level strategies and objectives consistent with OTECH division. Coordinate and work with other PfM to resolve problems at the lowest reasonable level Lead and evaluate project managers and other staff Assist the VP/GM in determining the most effective and productive methods to enhance divisional and program capabilities, safety, quality, UDC control, and applying value engineering.
