Quality Control Specialist I, Sample Management [Contract to Hire] Phildelphia Iovance Biotherapeutics aims to be the global leader in innovating, developing and delivering tumor infiltrating lymphocyte (TIL) therapy for people with cancer. The Iovance TIL platform has demonstrated promising clinical data across multiple solid tumors. We are committed to continuous innovation in cell therapy, including gene-edited cell therapy, which may be a promising option for patients with cancer. Overview The Quality Control Specialist I, Sample Management will ensure time-sensitive distribution of quality control samples in support of QC-related activities. They will be responsible for sample inventory management as well as internal and external sample distribution, including storage and shipping under appropriate conditions, for all the iCTC cell therapy asset. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: - Maintain raw material, in-process, and final product samples, including inventory tracking and reconciliation. - Ensures timely sample distribution in support of Quality Control activities, including internal distribution and external shipping. - Ensures proper storage of sample inventory and proper shipping conditions - Support sample receipt and documentation. - Maintain current knowledge base of regulations, corporate policies, and industry best practices, trends, and standards to ensure that the function remains in compliance with applicable requirements. - Packaging of samples using temperature controlled dewars, cold packs, and dry ice. - Perform Quality Control activities - Performs peer review of logbooks
