Senior Director of Events New York, New York, United States Business Insider is hiring a Senior Director of Events to join our Business Insider Live team to lead the production and project management across BI Live events. The Role & Team: As a Sr Director of Events you will lead the production team responsible for delivering Business Insider Live's events to life. You will act as the internal subject matter expert, working across functions to realize an ambitious suite of events. The Senior Director of Events reports directly to the VP of BI Live and sits on the BI Live team. This position is based in our New York City HQ with an in-office presence of at least 2-3 days per week. Key Responsibilities: Production and Planning: - Lead production planning and execution team for 15-20 annual events, from concept to wrap - Oversee production scopes, budgets, and vendors (A/V, vendors, scenic, streaming, labor, etc.), build processes that maintain BI Live standards in the production process - Partner with editorial, creative, partnerships, and marketing
