About this role
Senior Data Scientist (Growth) Palo Alto, California, United States About Inflection AI Inflection AI is a Public Benefit Corporation empowering people with human-centered, emotionally intelligent AI. We're shaping the future of AI by combining emotional intelligence (EQ) and raw intelligence (IQ) to elevate people's potential. Inflection AI created Pi, the world's first emotionally intelligent AI, to help people work through decisions, emotions, and challenges. Pi is a personal AI agent powered by Inflection AI's foundation model, proving that AI can be personal, empathetic, and contextually aware. About the Role As a Senior Data Scientist (Growth) on our Product team, you will be the primary architect of our understanding of user behavior. Reporting directly to the Head of Data Analytics, you will serve as the dedicated data scientist partner for our Product and Growth teams. Your mission is to go beyond descriptive analytics - building predictive models and behavioral frameworks that allow us to anticipate user needs, identify friction before it becomes churn, and surface the signals that drive long-term retention. This is a high-leverage, deeply technical role. You will own the full analytical lifecycle: from schema design and data quality through feature engineering, modeling, and insight delivery. You will be the bridge between our Data Engineering team and our Product organization, ensuring the infrastructure we build supports ambitious, model-driven growth decisions. You will also play a key role in understanding how different user audiences discover, adopt, and derive value from our product - connecting acquisition signals to downstream behavioral outcomes
