The Role The Compliance Specialist supports Indeed Flex's compliance with federal, state, and local requirements related to employee relations, background screening, drug screening, unemployment, employment verifications, and work authorization processes. This role serves as a subject matter expert in one or more compliance areas while supporting employee relations matters and investigations involving a contingent workforce across multiple states. The Compliance Specialist partners with internal teams to maintain compliant processes, support process improvements, identify workflow efficiencies, and ensure a consistent employee experience throughout the employment lifecycle. 💼 This position is located onsite in Austin, TX (at The Domain), five days per week, with the option to work from home on Thursdays. What you'll need - Minimum two (2) years of experience in Human Resources, Employee Relations, Compliance, or a related field. - Familiarity with multi-state HR compliance regulations and employment laws.
