About this role

Production Technician-1st shift Southington, CT, United States The Assembly Technician is responsible for ensuring the correct operation of automatic and semi-automatic assembly production equipment in accordance with governing documentation. Initiate action to prevent nonconformances related to the product and equipment. Identify and record problems relating to the product, process and/or quality system. Initiate recommendations, provide solutions, and verify the effectivity of continuous operational improvements. The Technician will apply automation skills along with related knowledge in electronics, mechanics, pneumatics and hydraulics to troubleshoot, repair, maintain and modify automated machinery. Perform machine setup, equipment/product change overs, troubleshoot equipment performance problems and assist team with machine adjustments.
