About this role

Cloud Architect (Top Secret cleared) Washington, DC Please note: This role is contingent upon a contract award. While it is not an immediate opening, we are actively conducting interviews and extending offers in anticipation of the award. The Work: ICF is seeking an accomplished Cloud Architect with deep expertise in AWS to lead the design and implementation of secure, enterprise‑scale cloud solutions in a complex federal environment. The ideal candidate brings over a decade of experience architecting n‑tier, service‑oriented applications integrating multiple COTS products, and can operate effectively within mission‑driven organizations requiring the highest levels of security. Job Location: Although this position is remote, the candidate needs to live in the Washington DC metro area. If you accept this position, you should note that ICF does monitor employee work locations and blocks access from foreign locations/foreign IP addresses, and also prohibits personal VPN connections. You may be asked to travel once a quarter to an office or client site. Our core work hours are 8am - 5pm Eastern Time with the option to start earlier or work later depending on your time zone. What You Will Do: Lead the architecture, design, and deployment of scalable and secure AWS cloud solutions for enterprise environments. Develop end‑to‑end system architectures integrating multiple COTS products within n‑tier, service‑oriented frameworks.
