Senior Manufacturing Engineer- Archdale, NC Archdale, NC Job Overview Hubbell's Industrial Controls, located in Archdale, NC is seeking a dedicated and experienced Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to join our dynamic team. This hands-on, shop floor-based role is crucial for overseeing and troubleshooting our daily manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be actively involved in driving continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing scrap and enhancing productivity, all while managing costs effectively. A Day In The Life Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards while promoting a strong safety-first culture on the shop floor. Provide technical leadership and day-to-day oversight of manufacturing processes on the shop floor, including CNC and manual machining, fabrication equipment, presses, robots, core machines, furnaces, and supplier located molding machines. Be the senior-level troubleshooter for complex and recurring process issues, leading root cause analysis and implementing robust corrective and preventive actions to minimize downtime and production losses. Design and implement fixtures to assist with manufacturing. Lead and champion continuous improvement initiatives focused on scrap reduction, productivity gains, cycle time reduction, yield improvement, and overall cost optimization.
