Senior Engineer II - Should Costing Chennai, TN Job Overview We are looking forward to “Costing Engineer” based in Chennai, India. The position requires a highly energetic, result-driven, self-motivated, and proactive individual with sound knowledge of product costing. The candidate should also possess strong Leadership, interpersonal, presentation, communication, conflict resolution, and stakeholder relationship management skills. Other core competency requirements are Customer focus, Strategic thinking, Functional Excellence, Integrity & Ethics, and Professional Maturity. Overall, the candidate should have around 3 to 5 years of experience in Mechanical product costing. Knowledge of Mechanical & electromechanical products. A Day In The Life Every day at Hubbell is different and you'll contribute in many ways. On any given day, you'll make a difference by: Knowledge of Manufacturing processes & Techniques (Plastics, Casting, Machining, Sheetmetal, Extrusion & Forging) Need to do should costing for casting, machining, forging, sheet metal, and plastics components. Need to do should costing for plating, heat treatment, powder coating and welding process. Should have Knowledge of DFMA Boothroyd Dewhurst software /apriori Should have knowledge of component & assembly costing. Should have knowledge of Inventor / Solid works CAD package. Good communication skills & Interact with US Customers to understand the requirements. Need to work with a cross-functional team. Understand 3D models/drawings and Geometric dimensions and Tole
