Materials Handler - 2nd Shift Lincoln, NH Job Overview Responsible for: Using hand or powered equipment, loads, and moves materials with or near work site by performing the following duties. A Day In The Life Roles & Responsibilities: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Supplies operators with work and material and removes completed parts per route sheet sequence and as required. Reads route sheets or follow verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved. Checks material against route sheets for accuracy. Positions materials and containers as required. Removes scrap from machines, places in correct containers and moves to designated areas. Loads and unloads material onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves. May count, weigh, and/or measure units of materials moved or handled as required. Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on tote pans, skids or other containers. Lifts objects thirty-five (35) pounds or less by hand and objects thirty-five (35) pounds or over with powered equipment, and cleans work area, machines and equipment to assist operators. Keeps assigned area clean and organized at all times. Removes trash from assigned area and brings to the assigned trash location in the warehouse. Operate fork truck and coordinate activities with shift warehouse personnel. Reports job operations/activities on daily labor ticket.
