Machine Operator- 1st Shift Rocky Mount, NC Job Overview The Press Machine Operator is responsible for operating machinery and equipment used in the manufacturing of enclosures. This role involves performing specialized tasks to create both standard and customized products efficiently and safely. A Day In The Life Operate various machines and perform mold press operations to support the production team. Set up and operate machines according to specific procedures and guidelines. Interpret blueprints, diagrams, and other technical documents to assemble equipment and products accurately. Record production quantities, including acceptable items and scrap. Use hand tools such as screwdrivers and drills effectively. Manage and maintain inventory at the workstation. Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet the required standards. Identify and report any product defects to the supervisor. Operate equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets and customer demands. Adhere to safety, quality, and productivity standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area. Accurately document data and maintain records as required. Adjust machine settings as needed to ensure quality production. Report safety concerns and incidents to management promptly. Additional Responsibilities: Frequently lift up to 35 pounds and perform repetitive tasks. Demonstrate manual dexterity for assembly tasks. Participate in special projects as needed.
