AVP – Consulting | Houston Houston, Texas, United States Job Summary: The AVP/VP Consulting will champion long-term client value by stewarding trusted partnerships with C-suite executives and steering complex programs to success through strategic governance. They will lead and mentor a high-performing team of Program Directors, orchestrating cross-functional collaboration with Sales and Product to mitigate churn, drive account expansion, and refine consulting methodologies. This role combines operational rigor with hands-on leadership, requiring a strong on-site presence to ensure seamless software adoption and measurable business outcomes. Your Day-to-Day: - Manage client relationships at the executive level (CIO/GBS leaders/CFO) - Partner with client executives, global process owners and internal stakeholders to align on expected value and means, and to measure it on a continuous basis - Collaborate with the Program Directors to ensure they are building strong relationships at mid-management levels - Ensure monthly steering committee meets are executed with clients in collaboration with program directors - Partner with sales to proactively plan for growth, hiring, and contract reviews - Proactively manage churn by proactively identifying risks and helping Program Managers develop mitigation plans - Collaborate with Product Management on segment specific solutions - Be the people manager for Program Directors by providing onboarding support, regular check-ins, coaching, feedback, and guidance, and leading formal employee performance reviews - Help to build and improve training methodologies and the tools needed for Consulting success - Manage deliverables to achieve deadlines across multiple projects and clients - Travel on-site to teach the client how to
